Blood Donor
Travels Country
He's traveling the country asking you to take
the time to donate.
Al Whitney is on a mission to donate blood platelets in all 50
states.
The Ohio retiree started donating in 1965. To date Whitney has
donated 5 gallons of blood and 644 units of platlets.
2 years ago Whitney decided to travel the nation to donate and
encourage others to do the same. And it's not just the traveling and
scenary that Whitney enjoys.

wonderful people donate and work in blood banks. I have not found a
negative person in 31 states so far."
Whitney says he'll keep donating as long as the Good Lord let's him.
South Dakota is Whitney's 32nd state.
